How to Use the Next 48 Hours

There are 48 hours left in 2017 and I am writing my final blog post for the year. Last year I wrote a blog post entitled 696 Hours: Five Things to Consider.  As 48 hoursthis year draws to a close, I wanted to give you some insight on my coming year. I have already received Godly direction for the coming year. First of all, I will be changing up my routine quite a bit. I will be focusing more on writing books and less time on writing my blog. I will still post some, but overall I will be writing books. God told me my first priority is to write books, and secondly to engage (blogging). I found it is really hard to do both and do both well.

How will you use the next forty-eight hours to finish up 2017 and move into 2018? In my 696 Hours post, I  listed five things to consider. Please read that post to find out what they were. You can find the link to that post above. Here are a couple of other suggestions:

  1. Visit a prison,  hospital or retirement home and share God’s love (Matthew 25:36)
  2. Share the gospel with some of your visiting relatives or even a neighbor (Matthew 28:18-20)
  3. Start that new project the Holy Spirit has been prompting you to start (Habakkuk 2:2)
  4. Pay your vows to the Lord (Deuteronomy 23:21)

Hope you enjoy this post. Think about the next 48 hours and how you will finish the year going strong in the things of God. God bless and have a great 2018!
