Hey, Don’t Be That Girl!

Introduction
Is your princess growing up too quickly? Is she already looking for her prince when you think she should be playing with dolls? Is your daughter starting her teenage years; your high school graduate off to college? These are pivotal years in a young girls’ life. Would you like to take every opportunity to fill her heart with Godly thoughts and practices? Hey, Don’t Be That Girl! is the devotional she needs to keep her on track. This 21-Day Devotional will help transform her from a Good girl to a God girl.

Day 8
Never accept less than God’s best. Did you know? When God wants to bless you, He puts a person in your life.
When Satan wants to destroy you, He puts a person in your life. You need to be able to recognize the difference.

Day 15
Inventory your life. Take a good look at your life. You are young in years, but you can still do mighty things for God.
God impregnated you with purpose and a plan for your life before you were born.

Scripture: Jeremiah 1:5
I knew you before I formed you in your mother’s womb. Before you were born I set you apart and appointed you as my prophet to the nations.

Hey, Don't Be That Girl!

Jeremiah 29:11 paraphrased (NIV)
For I know the plans I have for you declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not harm you, plans to give you a (great) hope and a (blessed) future.

God’s plan is already in you, you need to discover it and follow it. Stop making decisions based on what you think you should do; instead, ask Him what you should do and who He called you to be. Do not make excuses for your failures; use your failures as a stepping stone on your road to success.
Day 17
Protect what God has placed within you. Treat it as a precious gift. Fill your mind with good things. What you put into yourself is what will come out in a crisis.

Scripture: Philippians 4:8 (ESV)
Whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things.

Be watchful. Study your surroundings.  Everyone wants the good life; however, not many people want to do what it takes to get it. You cannot be like everybody else. You cannot compare yourself to anyone else, except avalon-quoteJesus. If you want something you have never had; you have to do something you have never done. Develop the gift of patience.

Galatians 5:22: But the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness.

Remember: “Patience is the weapon which forces deception to reveal itself.”
