Get Inspired Resources

How would you like to do what inspires you? For me it’s writing, reading a good book, home decor, and attempting DIY projects. In order to help others get inspired, I am going to provide some inspiration.

My ResourcesSince starting this blog I have found several resources which I find invaluable. Check them out below.

The number one resource I use as a Christian blogger is, of course, the Bible.  I use the New Kings James and NIV mostly; but I am not a Bible snob, so use whichever one you prefer. These are online versions; I like using a study bible if I am using a print version like this one.

Many of you may want to monetarize your blog using Affiliate Marketing. Here are some resources you may want to check out.

SHAREASALE is an affiliate marketing network and includes hundreds of merchants to choose from if you want to go this route.

CJ by CONVERSANT is another affiliate marketing network. They also have hundreds of merchants to choose from. You will find plenty of recognizable brands like Old Navy.

BLUEHOST is my hosting company. I give them 5 stars.
It’s very user-friendly.  The price is great too.

Amazon is my go-to shopping place for just about everything. Also as an Amazon Prime member, I get a multitude of benefits, including free two-day shipping and streaming movies and music.

As a librarian,  I am an avid reader. I usually read several books at a time, mostly on my Kindle.
With Amazon, as a prime member, I can get books free from Kindle Unlimited. I absolutely love this Bible, an Amazon find. You can get the Kindle version here or buy the hardcover.

I spend a lot of time online, so for special occasions I send e-cards.  Not only can you find cards, you can shop for books, journals, and home decor, and let’s not forget, tis the season for back to school supplies.

Pinterest is amazing. How many of you would agree? If you have not joined Pinterest you are missing a world of information and just plain fun. Pinterest is not just good for business; it’s good for developing social contacts and keeping up with what interests your friends.  As a Christian blogger, I not only follow other Christian bloggers, I look at fashion, decor, DIY, recipes and more. Be careful, though, it’s addictive.

Grammarly is a great grammar checking tool. You can download it for free. There is also a premium version available for a fee.

Yoast SEO
If you have been blogging for a while you know that you have to make your site attractive to search engines. I use WordPress and they highly recommend Yoast SEO (Search Engine Optimization). I am glad I decided to try Yoast. There is so much information on the web about SEO that you can quickly become confused. Yoast makes SEO easy. Give it a try!

Canva is a design tool. I use it to create beautiful photos and designs for my blog and other media. I also used it to create front covers for my books. You are going to love Canva.
