How to Escape the Dark Clouds of Life

Dark clouds sometimes come our way; but God has provided a way of escape. I know we all have had our dark, dry seasons when it appears there is no way out of the situation.  The enemy has you thinking, who really cares about this but you?  You feel you are not hearing God clearly or not hearing God at all!  You must immediately cast down those thoughts and vain imaginations and take every thought captive that exalts itself against the knowledge of God!! (2 Corinthians 10:5).  How? Start by saying what God’s Word says about your particular situation.  Find the scriptures that God has already promised you and has shown you how to escape.  The thoughts will come, but remember the devil is a liar!  So, immediately say “stop it right there, that’s not my inheritance”! It is written that I am more than a conquer, I am the healed of the Lord, many are the afflictions of the righteous, but He delivers us out of ALL OF THEM!

That’s what Jesus did. (Matthew 4:4)  When you speak the Word of God, in the name of Jesus and in the authority He had given us as believers, the devil must flee!

Escape the Darkness

Don’t be moved by the dark clouds that “appear” to be hanging over you.
God is the same today, yesterday and forever. He reminded me of this scripture in Exodus 10:21-23, when God had Moses stretch forth his hands and a great plague of darkness came over Egypt.  The Egyptians didn’t have light for 3 days.  It was so dark they couldn’t even see each other and didn’t move or leave their homes for 3 days.  Some say they could feel the darkness; but, the scripture also says the children of God, (that’s you and me), the Israelites had light, even in the midst of that great darkness in Egypt!  The dark clouds had to move.  That’s an awesome God we serve.  He will prepare a table before you in the presence of your enemies (Psalm 23:5).

Emanuel, God is with us!  God is the Light of the world.  Jehovah Jireh, our provider will never leave or forsake you.  That’s His Promise to you!  (Deuteronomy 31:6)

We have to put our trust in El Elyon,  the Most, High God!  Yes, in the midst of whatever dark situation you are facing, God has already provided the light and your way of escape.  Just continue to trust and give Him praise!  It’s easy to praise God when all is going well according to your plans;  but it takes faith, hope, and trust in God to praise Him when you are in that dark or tough place.  The enemy will always show you doom and gloom and attempt to convince you of what God didn’t say.  I say, take the Word and promises of God and continue to stand and trust in God and see the salvation of the Lord. We will never figure God out, so stop striving and trying, and start TRUSTING and RESTING IN HIM!  He’s got you! Be still and know that HE IS GOD!
